Description
K-Type Thermocouple PK-1000 for Digital Thermometer
- 1 thermocouple with high temperature ceramic fiber insulation -
-58 to 1832°F (-50 to 1000°C)
This is a reliable thermocouple PK-1000 wire with a K-Type sensor. The sensor is at the tip of a 3ft long wire probe, which has a high temperature cermic fiber insulation. It has a miniature type K connector that will work with digital K-type thermometers.
This probe can used to measure air or gas temperatures, it can be attached to pipes or embedded into objects you want to measure. It is frequently used in pottery kiln, forge, furnaces and high temperature ovens in metal working and foundry. Because of the small diameter it can easily be inserted through access holes or small cracks between fire brick.
This is our new version with improved ceramic fiber insulation and a chromel metal wire to secure the ceramic at the tip. This wire prevents the unraveling of the ceramic fiber insulation at very high temperatures in the kiln. And the wire is the same material as the thermocouple, so if it touches the measurement wire it will not change the accuracy.
