This is a brand new digital thermometer for contact temperature measurements. It has one input for K-type thermocouples and can display the temperature in 0.1° steps.

It can be used in HVAC trade to check air conditioners, heaters or furnaces with high precision. 

It is also great for science projects, in the laboratory for physics, chemistry or biology and whenever you need a precise measurement of temperatures.

It comes with one 3 ft (1 m) wire temperature probe, this has a green Teflon FEP insulation and works up to about 500°F (260°C), and an additional 6" stainless steel insertion probe TC-3, which works up to 1292°F (700°C).

Any other K-type probe with miniature K-type thermocouple connector from the thermocouple section can be used.
