Description
K-Type Thermocouple for Digital Thermometers PK-700
-320 to 1292 °F (-200 to 700 °C)
This is a reliable thermocouple wire with a K-Type beaded sensor. The sensor bead is at the tip of a 6 ft long wire probe, which has a high temperature fiberglass insulation, good up to 1292 degree Fahrenheit. We now secure the fiberglass with thin thermocouple wire, so you will not have a melting plastic heat shrink tube at the tip.
This high temperature K-type thermocouple has a miniature type connector (2 flat blades) that will work with digital K-type thermometers of many manufacturers. This temperature probe can used to measure air or gas temperatures, non corrosive liquids and it can be attached to pipes or embedded into objects you want to measure.
This thermocouple will read very low temperatures, if you have a suitable thermometer. I have tested this down to -350°F (-210°C) with the DT1311 or DT1312 thermometer. The thermocouple connector can easily be opened and you can shorten the wire if desired.
