K-Type Thermocouple TC-NFP-1 for Digital Thermometer

This is a reliable k-type wire thermocouple TC-NFP-1 with a standard k-type sensor. The sensor bead is at the tip of a wire probe in a selection of lengths, which has a yellow teflon PFA plastic coating. This double layer teflon PFA based insulation has a first inner layer around the wires, which is ANSI conform color coded yellow for (+ plus) and red for the (- minus) lead and then has a yellow outer insulation (non ANSI color). This thermocouple can be used up to 500 degree Fahrenheit, or 260 degree Celsius. The K-type thermocouple has no connector, just stripped wire.

This fast reacting k type thermocouple is made from very thin k-type sensor wire, the thermocouple wire diameter is approximately AWG 30 (0.25 mm), this will give you very quick temperature readings.

This probe can used to measure air or gas temperatures, it can be attached to pipes or embedded into objects you want to measure. It also can be used in non-corrosive liquids, such as water that does not have much salt or acid in it.

This K-type thermocouple will read very low temperatures and can be used for cryogenics with liquid nitrogen or dry ice, as long as you have a suitable digital thermometer.
