This is a reliable thermocouple wire probe with a K-Type thermocouple sensor. The k type sensor is at the tip of a 12 ft long wire probe, which has a high temperature Kapton plastic insulation, good up to 752 degree Fahrenheit °F or 400 degree Celsius °C. The wires are AWG 24, or about 0.5 mm. The thermocouple sensor tip is 2 inch stainless steel with 0.118 (3mm) diameter.

The thermocouple has a miniature type connector (2 flat blades) that will work with digital K-type thermocouple thermometers of many manufacturers (Nicety, Fluke, Extech, Omega).
