Description
K-Type Thermocouple CR-02-18.5" for Digital Kiln Thermometer
- One 18.5" long thermocouple with high temperature ceramic tube insulation -
- connector plate for wiring included -
-58 to 2372°F (-50 to 1300°C)
This is a heavy duty K-type Thermocouple for use in kiln, forge and furnace applications. The probe is made from AWG 8 gauge thermocouple wire and is rated for continuous use at very high temperatures up to 2372 °F Fahrenheit or 1300 °C Celsius. The k-type thermocouple is about 18.5 inch in total length, and the 14 insulation tubes are about 16 inch long. A connector plate for wiring the probe to your k-type thermometer or a temperature controller is included.
This type K Thermocouple Kiln Probe is made with 14 ceramic insulators, each about 1 inch long, and it allows you to adjust the probe length by removing insulator elements and shortening the wire to your exact requirement. It is also available as 8.5 inch and 14.5 inch K-type thermocouple probe.
If you need a cable to connect this temperature sensor to your digital thermometer, we recommend the CR-4 hook-up cable, please look here:
