This is a great large size and inexpensive insertion thermocouple TC-04 with a K-Type sensor. The sensor is housed at the tip of a 8 inch long stainless steel probe, which comes with a 5 inch long handle. It has a miniature type connector that will work with digital K-type thermometers (see my shop for a good selection).

The stainless steel probe is 4 mm (0.16 inch) in diameter and more sturdy than the 3 mm (0.12 inch) probes.

This probe can be inserted in liquids or any object you like to measure. It is much easier to clean than the thermocouple wire that comes with many thermometers.
